Is The Learning Den a school or a homeschool co-op?
The Learning Den is a homeschool learning support program, not a private or public school. Parents remain the primary educators and are responsible for homeschool compliance with state laws.
Do parents need to stay on campus?
No. This is a drop-off program during scheduled class hours. Parent involvement opportunities are available but not required.
Which grade levels can join the Den?
From little ones in Kindergarten to young adults in 12th grade, all are welcome. We nurture each child in peer-appropriate groups to encourage meaningful friendships and academic growth through Christ.
Do you follow the public school calendar?
We generally follow a traditional academic year, but our calendar is designed specifically for homeschool families and may differ from local school districts.
How do you ensure a kind environment?
We uphold a safe, Christ-centered space with clear guidelines for conduct. For peace of mind, all participating parents undergo background checks while contributing to a culture of mutual respect and safety.
What is the process for registration?
We prioritize our current families first, then open doors to new friends. If a class reaches capacity, our waitlist is a hopeful place, as we often see new spots open up during the summer months.
